Finding Arts eVentures, Inc and contracting with the company to reinvent our website is among the best management decisions we have made in our 35 year history. As a rapidly growing cultural arts institution with a plethora of programs to attract patrons across age groups and gender we needed the participants and general market to broaden their notion of available opportunities at eta Creative Arts Foundation. Another objective was to "liven the website up" with compelling images and to make it easier to navigate. A systematic enhancement of e-mail marketing was seen as critical to getting the best overall results.

With the relationship we were able to establish with the staff of Arts eVentures through the hands-on involvement of the Principal our objectives have been more than met. The contract with the company was clear and definitive; the integrity in the process of work was consistently maintained and the collaborative manner of decision making between all concerned parties made what could have been a complex project easy.

Recently, Preservation Chicago decided to rebuild its web site. After much research, we decided to hire Norman L. Lawrence, Jr and his design team at Arts eVentures. Although I personally did not relish the idea of rebuilding a web site for the third time in ten years, once we met with Norman and learned about how his design philosophy and the collaborative process in which we would soon be engaging, my mind was put at ease.

Unlike our other web site building experiences, Norman carefully listened to our concerns and desires and, together as a team, we crafted a web site that best addressed the needs of our general membership and the visitors who we hoped to entice into becoming members of our organization.

To be honest, I actually ended up enjoying the process. My prime responsibility as Executive Director was to provide the content for the site. As an architect, I also had a strong sense of what the site should look like and how it should function. Working with Norman and his team of designers, were able to achieve a finished product that truly reflects what Preservation Chicago is and what we are as an organization.

Although there was some concern on my part that egos would clash, that never happened. Norman was more than willing to modify or redesign pages if they did not function as originally planned or if aspects of the navigation failed to run smoothly. To boot, the site was on schedule and on budget.

In the end, we are exceptionally pleased with our new web site and have received nothing but compliments since it went live at the end of 2010. I would highly recommend Norman L. Lawrence, Jr and Arts eVenture again.
